Store lambs were a roaring trade at Markethill on Monday when over 2,100 sheep were offered up for sale.
Over 1,000 store lambs were on show and these were marketed in terms of half weights.
The top price was 922p/kg and this came from a pen of 11.6kg lambs making £107.

Other similar lots include 14.5kg selling for £132, which equates to 910p/kg, and a pen of stores that weighed 13kg went for £118 or 908/kg.
In the mid-weight range, a 20kg pen of lambs sold for £132 (660p/kg), and 21.7kg went for £139 (641p/kg).
Heavy lambs made strong prices, including a 24kg lot selling for £149 (621p/kg), and a 25kg pen made £154 (616p/kg).
There were 270 cull ewes on show, with the top priced pen making £248.

The best ewes made £200 and over, with second quality lots selling for £160 and above, and poorer ewes sold from £70 upwards.
The first sale of breeding ewes at Markethill this season saw a top price of £270, with other leading prices including £245, £260 and £265.
