The Ulster Grassland Society (UGS) autumn meeting is to take place at 11am on Tuesday 28 October on the farm of David Hunter, 31 Droit Road, Newtownstewart, Co Tyrone, BT78 4DS.

David farms 180 acres, milking 112 spring-calving crossbred cows (Holstein x Jersey x Viking Red).

His primary goal is to maximise the use of grass, with cows typically turned out in February and not housed until late October or early November. Everyone is welcome to attend the meeting.
