Founded in 1911, Corlismore pedigrees based in Co Cavan conducted its first ever online timed auction in 2024 with resounding success. This year, the herd will host its second online timed auction of pedigree Hereford and Angus cattle from 26 to 29 September.
It will consist of eight Hereford heifers, three Angus heifers and a special entry of two homozygous polled Hereford bulls.
Some of the herds most prominent Hereford lines will be on offer, including the famous Sydneys, which produced this year’s multiple-award-winning Corlismorepoll 1 Sydney 233 and Corlismore Sydney 308 PH.

On the Angus front, there are some exceptionally well-bred heifers from Deelish Shotgun, Rawburn Boss Hogg and Drumcrow Raw Peak.
The two homozygous polled Hereford bulls present a real opportunity for both pedigree and commercial breeders to secure something from the herd’s impressive stock bulls, Solpoll 1 Real Good ET and Corlismorepoll 1 Codaline 102.
All cattle can be exported after the sale and can be viewed at any time prior to the sale with an on-farm viewing on Saturday 27 September at H12YF97. Online bidding is through MartEye and Ballyjamesduff Mart, with the sale closing at 7pm on Monday 29 September.
