Kubota unveiled its recently announced M7003 range of tractors. The new series will replace the M7002. The range includes three models – the M7133, the M7153 and the flagship M7173. The 6.1l four-pot range offers the same power outputs as did the outgoing M7002 series, with 130hp in its M7133, to 170hp in its largest M7173 model. The two smaller models have an additional 20hp boost while the M7173 has a 25hp boost, bringing its maximum power to 195hp. Maximum power is now delivered at 1,900rpm rather than 2,000rpm on its predecessors.

As before, there are two levels of specification offered – the Standard and Premium, along with a Premium KVT, which is essentially a Premium with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Buyers can choose to purchase Kubota’s own stepless transmission or what they call KVT transmission over the standard powershift transmission.

Powershift versions have a new brake-to-neutral function that allows the operator to stop the tractor by just depressing the brake pedal. The 145hp M7153 model pictured has an unladen weight of 6,730kg and a max lift capacity of 9,400kg.
