The first two Smyth Field Master Super Cube trailers produced for Quigley Agri Contracting, Kildangan Co Kildare.

The new Super Cube trailer design is based on the same heavy-duty chassis and running gear already fitted to the standard Field Master trailers, including high-speed commercial axles with air and hydraulic load-sensing brakes, flotation 560/60/22.5 tyres and the latest heavy-duty suspension.
This heavy-duty spring suspension system is 4in wide and 2in thick, compared with the previous 3in wide and 2in thick version.
The system eliminates the flex in the spring, thereby increasing stability of the trailer, especially when being towed at the increasing road speeds which modern tractors are now capable of.

Sam Smyth explains: “This suspension design is capable of handling greater weights than the traditional system and is a proper agricultural suspension. It has allowed us to look at new exciting designs such as the latest Super Cube version.”
The new body design is fitted with a sloped front which allows the carrying capacity to be increased from that of a standard 20ft version to the equivalent of a 22ft trailer, and can be further increased by fitting the Super Cube option to the Field Master Hi Volume model, which would see capacity of a 20ft version equal that of a 24ft trailer.
Smyth Trailers is now offering the Super Cube as an option to its customers for this season at an additional cost of approximately €750 plus VAT.
