Police in Armagh are appealing for information following the theft of approximately 100 hoggets from a shed on Derrycughan Road, Markethill, last Wednesday night (30 April).
The hoggets had recently been clipped, so they are reasonably distinctive. Anyone who saw anything suspicious or who can help police with their enquiries is asked to contact them on the new non-emergency number 101.

Milk in NI over
two billion litres
In the milk year from April 2013 to March 2014, milk supplies in NI have exceeded two billion litres for the first time. The actual figure, 2.02 billion litres, is up by 2.9% on the previous year.
The increasing pattern of production started with the good weather and good grazing conditions last July and has gathered momentum since, culminating in year-on-year increases of 7% and 9% in February and March of this year.
For the immediate future, good grass growing conditions and the favourable milk to meal price ratio will give further increases in production.
