While farmers stood outside Bord Bia HQ in Dublin, CEO Jim O’Toole headed up the Bord Bia delegation to the Gulfood food expo in Dubai. No less than 18 Irish exhibitors were on the stand.
Dawn Farm Foods was not there, but ABP, Ashbourne Meats, Dawn Meats, Dunbia and QK Meats were all present.
Minerva Foods, which previously was in a partnership with Dawn Farm Foods, was present on no less than three separate stands, one for their Brazilian operation, one for their Argentinian and a third for their Australian outfit.

One wonders was there much talk of Irish imports of Brazilian beef in the trade hall.
