The Active Agri Association is revving up for its Christmas tractor parade of lights on Saturday 2 December.
More than 150 tractors festooned with Christmas lights will assemble at Killinkere, Co Cavan, at 4pm. The tractorcade will move to Mullagh, then Kingscourt and back over the mountain to Bailieborough for 7pm. The event will be in aid of the children’s ward in Cavan General Hospital and last year raised over €9,000. Drivers can book in with Floyd McNeil on 086-873 9323 or Charlie McCann on 087-267 4297. Meanwhile, the Christmas Tractors Of Carrick On Suir will be starting up in Co Tipperary on Saturday 16 December 2017 at 5.30pm. The run will be in aid of the Make A Wish Foundation and the Brain Tumour Support Group.
