The company develops and produces pharmaceuticals for human and veterinary consumption, including brands such as Animec and Tribex.
In February, Chanelle announced 175 science and engineer graduate jobs to be based in Co Galway.
The recruitment drive is part of a €70m investment to expand the company’s manufacturing capacity and invest in product development.
Burke said the company has ambitious plans for the next five years.
“Our product pipeline is very strong and, with continued investment in R&D, we plan to launch 75 new products in both human and veterinary healthcare over the coming years.
“David’s extensive industry experience in the healthcare sector as well as his knowledge of Chanelle Group will be invaluable to us as we realise these plans.”
