FALLEN ICON: The once iconic grain silos on the Waterford city quays are being demolished on behalf of Waterford City Council. Once owned by IAWS and then R&H Hall, now a subsidiary of Origin Enterprises, the 12 silos were known locally as the “flour mills”.
