An old friend has told me that Larry Goodman has recently visited the abattoir ABP bought a few months ago in Germany and that he was well impressed after completing his usual tour and detailed inspection of it.

Goodman may not be as active in the day to day running of ABP as he once was, but no doubt his forensic eye for detail was still at work. I am wondering are the local managers who showed him around fully aware of this?

If not they will be in for a shock when he makes his next visit and asks them for a report on putting the things right that he thought wrong.
