Last Thursday, I purchased my copy of the Irish Farmers Journal along with some groceries in my local supermarket. Being up with the times, I was using the self-checkout facility. Having scanned my paper, I placed it in the bagging area, which promptly set off an alarm. There was so much information in last week’s paper that the system couldn’t believe I was only checking one paper out.
