The Dealer bumped into Maroš Šefcovic the EU Trade Commissioner when he was out and about in Dublin during his visit last week.
I was delighted to see that he was informing himself about the issues facing Irish farmers in the only way possible, by reading the latest edition of the Irish Farmers Journal!
Being ever helpful, the Dealer agreed to put him in touch with the subscriptions department so that he can keep himself informed about the consequences for Irish farmers of the decisions he and his colleagues make in the Brussels corridors of power.
