The service brings together families from across Ireland to remember loved ones lost to farm accidents within their community.

A poignant part of the service was the reading out of 410 names whose lives were lost on farms. Unfortunately, the list grows every year.

Speaking to families after the service, everybody said the same thing – that they never thought that it would happen to them.

Families also paid tribute to the massive level of help and support that the Embrace Farm charity has given them.

We all have a duty to place farm safety to the front of our minds – not just over the summer time but at all times.
