It was my birthday. My Grandma gave me nine chicks and one hen as a present. Then Daddy made a coop and a run for them. The chicks grew up to be nine strong chickens. Then we got a Silkie hen. She laid three white eggs per week.

We added as the months went by. Then we got three new chickens. One of them laid green eggs the other laid white eggs and the last one laid brown eggs. Then we got one more chicken named Bunny. And that is my chicken adventure.
