Lakeland Dairies has launched its student bursary programme, open to the sons and daughters of its milk suppliers and employees.

Now in its third year, the scheme assists six students, each receiving €2,000/£2,000 to assist with their studies.

The bursary is aimed at those undertaking undergraduate or higher-level degrees in disciplines relevant to Lakeland Dairies’ operations, including agricultural science, dairy science, manufacturing engineering and related fields and reflects the co-operatives continued focus on supporting its people and farming families.
