Having been Tirlán’s closest competitor in our May league, Dale Farm has slipped behind Aurivo in the prices paid to 1m-litre suppliers in NI.
Those prices in Table B are calculated across high, average and low solids milk, with the parameters for each as shown in Table 1 on the opposite page.
In our 1m-litre analysis, both butterfat and protein are down when compared to May 2026, to broadly reflect the actual results notified to us by processors for June supplies.
Tirlán/Fivemiletown leads across all three milk qualities, with Aurivo replacing Dale Farm in second after the NI based co-op took 0.5p off a “market support” payment in June.
The Aurivo price is also boosted by a 0.35p/l super hygiene bonus paid out on milk with a TBC at or below 15 and SCC at or below 200.
Mid-table
Other rankings are similar to the May league, with Leprino mid-table, ahead of Strathroy and Lakeland.
However, for low solids milk, Leprino is in sixth as its 0.75p/l Mozzarella bonus drops out given it is paid on milk with a butterfat of at least 4.08% and protein of 3.26%.
Rolling average
Included in Table C are the rolling average prices paid by each processor over the last 12 months to June 2026.
At the start of the year, these rolling prices were nearly all over 40p/l, but by May 2026, only the Tirlán rolling average for high solids milk remained above this threshold. In June 2026 that price has now dropped to 39.33p/l.
For average-quality milk, Tirlán leads with a price of 38.07p/l, with the gap to second placed Dale Farm widening out slightly to 0.9p/l.
The only change in rankings across the rolling prices when compared to our last league, sees Lakeland move from fifth to fourth for low solids milk.
Across all processors, the June rolling averages are at their lowest point in nearly two years.
