Farmers hoping to finalise and submit applications under tranche 13 of the Targeted Agricultural Modernisation Scheme (TAMS III) only have a few hours to do so, with the current tranche closing on Friday 4 September.
All applications must be submitted through the MyAgfood.ie or Agfood.ie online portals.
Tranche 14 will open for applications following the closure of tranche 13 and remain open for applications until 4 December 2026. There were 5,839 applications submitted under tranche 12 plus a further 1,395 applications rolled over from tranche 11.
Ranking
A similar figure of applications is expected in tranche 13, meaning that ranking and selection will continue to dictate the number of applications which receive approval.
A decision on this is not expected until a couple months after the application deadline has passed and the Department have had time to process applications.
