In the final quarter of 2025, New Zealand lamb exports to the UK were 7,514 tonnes, down from 8,908 tonnes the previous year (Beef+Lamb NZ).
USA – dairy imports fall
US dairy imports to November 2025 are down compared with the previous year, with butter down 41% and casein back 14.7%. Both are major Irish exports to the US.
Brazil – tariff
request rejected
A request by the government of Brazil to access unused beef import quota allocated to other countries by China has been declined.
