Red diesel prices have increased by almost 3p/l this week to 65.1p/l excluding VAT. The latest price increase brings agricultural fuel costs to its highest point for the year, and current prices are now trading at their highest level since late 2013.

Fuel distributors state that the increase in fuel comes on the back of rising crude oil prices and a weakening of sterling against the US dollar over the past week.
