A reward is being offered for information that leads to the recovery of a tractor that was stolen from a farm near Kinawley, Co Fermanagh, last weekend.

The John Deere 6430 had a loading bucket attached and was taken from a farm on the Clonfane Road before 5.30am on Saturday 15 October.

Speaking to the Irish Farmers Journal, owner John Brennan said that the tractor was last seen being driven through Belturbet on the Old Clones Road at around 6.20am on Saturday. Before this, it was seen in Derrylin at around 5.50am on the Teemore/Belturbet Road.

“The tractor was being driven with the bucket raised high up into the air, which is unusual and might stick out in someone’s mind if they spotted it around that time,” he said.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “I would appeal to anyone who may be able to help us identify its movements and any vehicles travelling with it to contact Enniskillen Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 433 of 15/10/16.”

Meanwhile, police in Dungannon are appealing for information following a theft of an Ifor Williams tipping trailer on the Pomeroy Road, Dungannon, sometime between 5pm on Friday 14 October 2016 and 8am on Monday 17 October.

Information on the two cases can be passed onto the PSNI by calling the non-emergency number 101 or by contacting Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800-555 111.
