The Royal Ulster Agricultural Society (RUAS) remain hopeful that the Balmoral Show will occur from 22 – 25 September 2021, chief executive Alan Crowe has confirmed.
“Our staff and committees are busy planning and looking at all the necessary changes needed to ensure a COVID-safe event” said Crowe, who added that the safety and wellbeing of visitors, exhibitors, stewards, officials and contractors remains of greatest importance.
In a separate message sent out to exhibitors, the RUAS said it was “planning as near to normal a Show as we can”, although acknowledged that visitor numbers are likely to be limited in some way.
