Several lots of ewes scanned with 1.6 lambs/ewe upwards sold from £310/head (€356.50) and higher.
Strong ewes running with a ram but not scanned sold up to £280/head (€322).
Cull ewes were a sold trade, with really heavy, well-fleshed lots selling from £215 to £250/head (€247.25 to €287.50), with factory agents eager to secure numbers.
Lighter but well-fleshed ewes or heavier lots requiring further feeding sold from £150/head (€172.50) upwards with ease, often broaching £200/head (€230).
Heavy factory lambs above 50kg liveweight sold in the main from £145 to £155.50 (€166.75 to €178.83), with some lambs in the high-50kg bracket seeing the top prices paid.
Forward store types between 44kg and 50kg sold from £135 to £145/head (€155.25 to €166.75), with Blackface rams weighing above 45kg generally being at the lower end of this range. Lighter stores in the mid-40kg range sold from £120 to £130/head (€138-€149.50).
