The Bangor Erris sheep fair will once again take place later this summer in Co Mayo.
This year marks the 200th anniversary of the sheep fair and, as is tradition, ewes, lambs and breeding stock will be bought and sold on the roadside along the main street in Bangor.
There will be a number of fair days through August to November, with five fairs in total.

In the 1800s, fair days took place on 11 August and 16 November. These two original dates have been added into the events calendar for 2023.
Organisers are targeting big crowds on Friday 11 August, where there will be traditional sheep shearing demonstrations, a blacksmith and information stands about tourism and agriculture in the local area.
A representative of the Agri-Climate Rural Environment Scheme (ACRES) will also be there on the day.
