Champion Charolais went to Patrick McDermott, Stranorlar, Co Donegal, with his October 2013-born heifer sired by Bova Sylvin (above). The reserve champion was the McGovern Brothers’ senior heifer sired by Goldstar Echo.
Angus
Champion Angus went to Bernard Kerins’ two-year-old AYR-sired senior heifer (above).
Commercial champion
Tapped forward by Scottish judges Willie Brewster and Stephan McCord from a spectacular lineup of commercial cattle was John Daly’s 17-month-old breeding heifer sired by TVR (above).
Reserve champion was the calf champion, a 2015-born Belgian Blue/Charolais cross heifer calf owned by Sean Hughes from Carrickmacross, Co Monaghan (above).
