Kerry Group has confirmed the price it will pay its suppliers for their November milk at 53.08c/l excluding VAT at 3.3% protein and 3.6% butterfat.

The price paid to farmers for November milk supplied has seen no change since July.

A Kerry Group spokesperson said it will also pay an additional 1c/l on November milk volumes as part of its contractual commitment.

The continued stable milk price comes as Teagasc outlined its end of year analysis and 2023 Outlook for the dairy sector

It estimates that milk prices were up some 44% in 2022 and forecasts that they will fall by some 15% to an average 49c/l next year.
