One of the UK’s largest agricultural companies, Strutt & Parker (Farms) Ltd, has gone on the market for £200m for the first time in the estate’s 100-year history.

The business is based across Essex, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire and consists of around 30,000ac – made up of approximately 13,000 ac of freehold land and 20,000ac of land occupied under third party agreements.

The estate also includes 121 freehold properties with a gross rent roll of more than £1m as well as various renewable energy enterprises which currently bring in around £7.6m in revenue.

The intention is for the multi-facetted business to be sold as a single share transaction and will be sold as a going concern by Savills and Deloitte LLP.
