Telehandler registrations back for October while wheeled loader numbers climb
A total of 459 telehandlers have been registered for the first 10 months of the 2019, a year on year increase of 28%. October was also a good month for new wheeled loader registrations.

Figures released by the Farm Tractor & Machinery Trade Association (FTMTA) show that there were 22 new telehandlers registered in October.
Although October’s registrations are down 12 units on the same period last year, registrations for the first 10 months of 2019 are still up.
A total of 459 new units have been registered so far, which equates to a 28% increase on last year’s numbers.

New wheeled loader registrations improved for the month of October, with 14 units registered
The three counties leading the way with the most registrations so far this year are Meath, Cork and Wexford with 86, 76 and 57 units respectively.
New wheeled loader registrations improved for the month of October, with 14 units registered, double the number from October last year. The total number of new wheeled loaders registered now stands at 98 units for the first 10 months of the year, eight units behind on 2018.
Backhoe market
Backhoe loaders also improved for the month of October with five registrations, up from a single machine on October 2018. The backhoe market now sits at a total of 66 new units registered for the first 10 months of 2019.
