Organised by a group of local tractor enthusiasts from a village on the Louth-Meath border, the annual Tullyallen tractor run has become increasingly established as not only one of the biggest events of its kind in the northeast but the entire country since its first outing in 2015. This year, it is expected to be no different.

Starting from Tullyallen Parochial Hall, the run takes in a route not too far from the banks of the River Boyne and Battle of the Boyne site, then crossing the M1 motorway passing the Pope’s Monument in Monasterboice before heading west towards the Co Meath border.
