Two separate parcels of good farmland, totalling 30ac, are on the market at Bellewstown, Co Meath. They are on offer by private treaty from Savills. The parcels are 25ac at New Haggard Lane, and Church Field, which is 4.2ac.

The location is halfway between the villages of Duleek (5 km) and Julianstown (5km), with Drogheda 8km away. There is convenient access to the M1, with Junction 7 situated 6km to the south.

The 4.2ac parcel at Church Field.

The 25ac at New Haggard Lane is a good block of land suitable for tillage and grass. It is in two divisions and bounds the River Nanny. The land is situated in a cul de sac off a minor road just off the R150. The land also overlooks the old Kilsharvan mill which, Savills says, was the last working mill on the River Nanny. The guide price is €275,000.

Church Field is a nice grazing field with stud fencing. The field is triangular in shape and is bounded on three sides by mature trees and road frontage. It adjoins the R150 and there is convenient access to the M1. The guide price is €120,000.

“Both parcels of lands are very productive, and excellently located close to the village of Bellewstown, the M1 and Drogheda,” Liam McCarthy of Savills said.

“We expect that we will have interest coming from local families in the area and also larger farmers looking for additional land in a desirable location close to the M1.” CL
