Valtra recently introduced two new A Series models, namely the A104 and the A114 with the HiTech 4 transmission. These tractors were launched at LAMMA and the A104M is set to make its Irish debut in Punchestown.

The tractor is fitted with a 16+16R powershift transmission that features four ranges with four powershift steps in each. For field and farmyard work, this transmission has six speeds available in the main work speed range between 4km/h and 12km/h. A super creeper 32+32R option is also available.

The A104 HiTech 4 is powered by a four-cylinder AGCO Power AWFC engine that churns out 100hp. The Stage 4-compliant engine uses SCR after-treatment technology to meet emission regulations.

The customised tractor that Valtra are set to showcase on their stand is a Candy Orange T4 series.

The new A Series models can now also be equipped with a front PTO and front linkage. According to Valtra, this is in response to customer demand.

Punchestown will be the setting for the first Irish showcasing of Valtra’s move to Stage 5 (Tier 5) engines, in order to meet the latest emission legislation.

Since the beginning of January 2019, Valtra T Series and S Series tractors have been produced as Stage 5 compliant versions. Production of Stage 5 compliant N Series tractors will begin in spring for the N174 and in the autumn for N134 and N154.

The new tractor models are powered by LFTN-D5 AGCO Power engines featuring SCR technology.

Although there is nothing new about this tractor, it is an example of Valtra’s Unlimited studio.

This is where customers can customise their new tractor as it comes off the production line in Finland. A Valtra spokesperson said: “This is a concept that we have developed over the last three to four years and now one in five tractors coming off the production line go through some kind of customisation.”

The customised tractor that Valtra is set to showcase on its stand is a Candy Orange T4 Series complete with a carbon effect interior, leather trim and additional premium sound system including built-in subwoofer. Valtra will also be displaying its N4 Series tractors, its main four-cylinder range.
