Wexford tillage farmer James Kehoe has been nominated for 'the world's greatest athlete of all time' award.

James is in contention for the award, along with 23 other contestants from 23 other sporting backgrounds around the world.

Tug of war

The tug of war enthusiast is a member of Boley Tug of War in Wexford and has taken part in nine out of the past 10 World Games, which take place every four years, similar to the Olympics.

At the World Games, James has proudly taken home two gold, three silver and four bronze medals.

The Wexford man also holds over 100 national tug of war titles, alongside 25 gold medals, 22 silver medals and numerous bronze medals from world and European games.
