Following a tragic accident in Wexford on Monday 15 March, Cooney Furlong Grain Company has issued an official statement following the loss of their esteemed colleague.
"We are deeply saddened by the loss of our esteemed colleague today. He was a committed and valued member of the team who worked with us for 18 years.
"We would like to offer our deepest condolences to his family, friends and colleagues at this time.

"The gardaí and the Health and Safety Authority will continue to investigate the circumstances over the coming days, with our full co-operation.
"As this is now an ongoing investigation, we will not be in a position to make any further comment for the moment," the company said.
