The Irish Aberdeen-Angus Association will display some of the best examples of pedigree and commercial cattle including the all Ireland champion and prizewinners from the summer shows on its stand at Block 4 Row 8 Stand 93. There you will see around 20 cattle demonstrating the breed’s ability to work for the commercial beef producer, the dairy farmer and the pedigree breeder.

Association president John Tait, secretary Kathryn Bradshaw and council members will be in attendance. They will be joined by the British Aberdeen Angus Society’s president David Evans and assistant breed secretary Neil Caul. All will be available to answer any questions you may have on the breed and talk about plans for the future of Aberdeen-Angus cattle.

The association is delighted to have a number of other exhibitors on the stand. Angus Beef Ireland will have a display of cattle suitable for its producer group. In addition, it will have demonstrations on the different cuts of meat – these demos will occur at various intervals over the three days. Agrimin will exhibit its products and a number of the meat factories will also be present. Gilbert Thompson’s Country Refreshments will be offering burgers and beef rolls.
