Agri-food software company Emydex Technology is set to double its workforce with the creation of 20 new software jobs.
The company creates software for meat and food processing companies. Its client list currently includes Kepak, Dawn Meats, Dunbia, Moy Park and the Kerry Group.
Emydex Technology has also announced details of a new two-year €300,000 contract with the Meat Corporation of Namibia, known as MeatCo. The meat processing and marketing organisation works on behalf of Namibian farmers and the deal will involve six separate MeatCo sites in the Sub-Saharan country.

Recruitment is already underway for the software programming positions, which will be based at Emydex Technology’s Blanchardstown headquarters in Northwest Business Park.
Of the new specialist roles announced today, 10 will be hired immediately, with the remaining 10 to be recruited for the positions over the next 18 months.
