Shares in Glanbia dropped more than 3% this week to fall back below the €15 mark. Glanbia shares are likely to close out the week at €14.70. There was also some weakening in shares in Kerry Group and Origin Enterprises this week.
Kerry shares will close out the week down 1% at €93, while shares in agri-services group Origin Enterprises are back 2% this week to €6.11.
In contrast, shares in insurance group FBD are up 1% this week to €10.35, while Greencore shares are up 2% to £1.82. Shares in Donegal Investment Group are also up just over 1% to €9.65. Donegal remains the star performer of the listed Irish agri-food companies in 2018, with shares in the company up more than 26% since the start of the year.
