The seaside town of Bundoran in Co Donegal is set to welcome the Atlantic Irish Fest later this month.

The Atlantic Irish Fest will take place from 21 to 25 January. It will feature a mix of live music performances, cultural talks about the history of Ireland and outdoor activities.

Some of Donegal’s most well-known musicians will be performing over the five days, including The Henry Girls, The Logues and Johnny Gallagher and the Boxty Band.

The festival will include an opportunity to go on a guided tour of the area, incorporating Bundoran’s coastal scenery and some ancient sites. Also on offer are Irish culture classes, which will feature Irish language, mythology and folklore. The event is tied in with the Dublin-based TradFest

Bundoran is a popular spot for surfers and is already home to the Sea Sessions music festival.
