The Rathlin Sound Maritime Festival takes place in Co Antrim in May and June.

The festival takes place between the coastal town of Ballycastle and Rathlin Island on the northeast coast of Antrim. It runs over 10 days and will kick off on Friday 26 May, continuing until Sunday 4 June. The festival celebrates the maritime heritage and culture of the area.

The festival will welcome boats and ships of all types and water activities such as kayaking will be available to try out on the waters between Ballycastle and Rathlin. There will be plenty of events on land as well, including guided tours of the surrounding coastline, as well as events to show off the local food and music.

The festival is family-friendly and admission and most activities are free. Keep an eye out for the full programme of events.
