On Thursday of last week, Gordon Hegarty and Sons hosted an open day in conjunction with Kverneland Ireland. There was a full display of Kverneland’s equipment from both its grassland and tillage stables.
Henry Hegarty of Gordon Hegarty and sons found the event to be a great success, with a constant number of current and prospective customers coming to look at the latest equipment from the Norwegian manufacturer.
On a lovely cold afternoon at the Kilkenny branch, there was a spectacular show of red equipment ranging from a four-furrow reversible plough to the Fastbale and everything in between. The other standout piece of equipment was the new Isobus-compliant E drill. This drill allows for a far more integrated sowing experience, with GPS and sensors on the machine reducing variability and driver fatigue.

John Mulhall from Kverneland Ireland said that it had been a very successful day for them and for the dealer, with lots of interest and positive feedback about the Kverneland ranges of machinery.
