Tullow Livestock Sales will conduct the dispersal sale of the Tullow Hill dairy herd on Wednesday 25 October at noon.
The sale is being held under the instruction of Mary Moore, Wastegrass, Tullow, Co Carlow.
Tullow Mart manager Eric Driver says the sale is an excellent opportunity for farmers to get their hands on pedigree-registered Holstein Friesian and Friesian cows.

The herd comprises 120 cows in milk (winter milk herd), 30 in-calf cows, 20 in-calf heifers and 40 maiden heifers. Herd performance includes a butter fat figure of 4.6, protein figure of 3.5 and production of 480kg milk solids.
Machinery
The farm’s machinery and other effects will also be sold following the sale of livestock.
