Dairygold and Arrabawn hold September milk price

Dairygold is the latest co-op to announce its September milk price after Glanbia, Kerry and Lakeland all announced unchanged prices.

The Dairygold board has decided to maintain the base price paid for milk supplied by members in September at 30.36c/l excluding VAT and inclusive of a 0.5c/l quality bonus.

Making the announcement a spokesperson said: “Regrettably, this current milk price does not reflect current market returns as product prices have significantly weakened in recent weeks.”

The Arrabawn board has also decided to name an unchanged price for Septmber of 30.6c/l.

All co-ops bar LacPatrick have now set their September milk prices with all naming an unchanged price.
