Dairygold has increased its milk price by 1c/l to 29.59c/l, excluding VAT, for December supplies.

It is the latest processor to set a milk price and follows Glanbia, Kerry and Lakeland in lifting its December milk price.

On Wednesday, Carbery held its milk price at 29.8c/l, excluding VAT.

Increase

The increase in milk prices this week comes off the back of a lift in the Ornua purchase price index (PPI).

It increased to 107.7 points last week on the back of positive butter markets to an equivalent milk price of 30.64c/l, excluding VAT.
