Dairygold is holding its December milk price, unchanged at 30.60c/l excluding VAT, based on standard constituents of 3.3% protein and 3.6% butterfat.

This equates to an average December farmgate milk price of 38.16c/l excluding VAT.

A spokesperson for Dairygold said: “Dairy markets remain relatively stable, following the positive outcome of the EU-UK trade deal. Global milk supply and dairy demand remain in fine balance.”

Meanwhile, the Dairygold board has approved a three-year fixed milk price scheme, at 30.54c/l excluding VAT. This price equates to 34.78c/l based on suppliers’ average 2020 milk solids.

Other processors

Lakeland Dairies said suppliers would receive 31.63c/l excluding VAT, while Glanbia suppliers saw a small lift, with a price of 31.7c/l excluding VAT.

Kerry Group is holding its milk price at 29.9c/l excluding VAT for December.
