Terelton Macra will host a Know Your Neighbour BBQ in aid of West Cork Rapid Response on 5 July in Foleys Bar, Terelton, at 5pm. On the day, there will be side shows, live music and an inter-club obstacle course challenge. Great day assured and all in aid of a worthy cause.
Kilmeen Macra will host a Father Ted night on 27 June in Tots Pub, Ballygurteen. A fun night is to be had with all things based on the show. For information, check out the Kilmeen Macra Facebook page.
Laois Macra’s annual awards night will be held in the Portlaoise Macra Hall on 27 June at 8.30pm. Music on the night by The Little Fiddle. A raffle will also be held on the night. Those who won county competitions will receive awards, so make sure to attend. It’s BYOB and bring your friends – entry is €10. Hope to see you there.
Mr & Mrs competition hosted by Knockbride Macra na Feirme on 18 July in Bailie Hotel, Baileborough, Co Cavan. Over 12 couples are already practicing and brushing up on their romantic skills for this fundraising event. Funds raised are going to the Laura Crossan Fund, the Baby Jake Appeal (both children have been diagnosed with cancer) and to Knockbride Macra club. Tickets are €10 and include entrance to event and late night dancing afterwards. There will be a raffle on the night with some great prizes to be won.
