Theory tests have come up in the news again, but this time it’s for dog owners.
Senator Paul Daly voiced his proposal at the latest Oireachtas Agriculture Committee meeting, which discussed dog control and sheep worrying. The farm organisations present had made calls for greater awareness and education for dog owners about the threat dogs pose, especially when off a lead.
However, Daly went one step further and said no person should be able to buy/adopt a dog without sitting a theory test.

If this measure came into force, I hope it has quicker queues than the driving tests.
