Agricultural exports from the EU hit a new record in November.

Latest monthly data from the European Commission show that EU agri food exports were worth €12.7m in November 2017, almost €1bn higher than in November 2016.

Alcoholic beverages and sugar drove growth, with the US, Russia, Turkey and China the fastest-growing destinations. Imports also increased, but at a lower pace than exports, with the EU’s agri food trade surplus over the last 12 months now worth over €20bn.
