Friesian bull calves made €120 to €280. Friesian runners made anything from €380 to €545. A selection of Friesian heifer calves made from €400 to €510. Hereford and Angus bull calves were back slightly on last week and made from €220 to €400, with runners making from €400 to €610.

Hereford and Angus Heifer calves made €200 to €380, while runners made anything from €400 to €550.

Cull cows numbers were back on previous weeks and made from €150 under to €365 over the weight. Sample prices:

  • Friesian 685kg – €960, €1.40/kg.
  • Friesian 695kg – €1,050, €1.51/kg.
  • Friesian 705kg – €930, €1.32/kg.
  • Friesian 500kg – €880, €1.76/kg.
  • Friesian 750kg – €1,060, €1.41/kg.

    • Store bullocks numbers were much smaller than recent weeks. Friesian bullocks made from €320 to €520 with their weight. Sample prices:

    • Prices for Hereford and Angus cross bullocks were up on last week making €400 to €650 with their weight.

  • Six Hereford 443kg – €970, €2.19/kg.
  • Two Angus 450kg – €995, €2.21/kg.
  • Three Hereford 373kg – €865, €2.32/kg.

    • Continental bullocks available made €400 to €600 over the weight.

  • One Limousin 530kg – €1,145 €2.16/kg.

    • Heifer numbers were low, with the more fleshed lots still making good prices with their weight. Sample prices:
