A farmer from Co Tyrone has been fined £1,000, plus a £15 offender levy, by Dungannon Magistrates’ Court on 13 August.
Wesley Nathaniel Crooks, Pomeroy Road, Cookstown, Co Tyrone, pleaded guilty to one charge for failing to notify the movement of seven cattle off his holding and two charges of failing to notify the deaths of a number of cattle.
The case was brought to court after an inspection of Crooks’ herd was carried out by DAERA officers from the welfare and enforcement branch.
