A new farm records package will be launched on 18 June. The package is designed to help farmers keep accurate records for management and cross-compliance purposes and can be used on the computer or through a smartphone app. So you can have your records updated as you go. The new package from Farmflo was created for crop records and is the brainchild of Gareth and Jason Devenney from Donegal.
The new Crops 2.0 and mobile app products are cloud based and have been in development and testing for a number of years.
The initial product contains many features of interest to tillage farmers and plans are afoot to develop similar packages for other enterprises. The launch will take place at 3pm in the CoLab facility in Letterkenny, where Farmflo are now based. Jason and Gareth Devenney will present the Farmflo story and demonstrate the software using data from their own farm.

The new mobile app will also be shown and attendees can see how they might keep their daily farm records on their smartphone. Gareth Devenney commented that:
“Compliance is one of the biggest worries for farmers and our product provides an easy-to-use solution that eliminates worry and enables farmers to focus on what they enjoy most.”
The launch is by invitation only, but invites can be arranged by contacting the company through their website at www.farmflo.com
