Fendt has recently launched its Lotus tedder range, made up of three models ranging in working widths from 7.70m to 12.50m.

They include the mounted six-rotor 770, the trailed eight-rotor 1020T and the 10-rotor 1250T.

The Lotus range will now be offered alongside the Fella-derived Twister range already on the market.

The makeup of the Lotus range sees maintenance-free double-cross cast joints adding to its flexible movement.

Rotor plates are fitted with the known flat tine arms that were fitted on the Lely machines.

The build-up of the 10.20m 12020T and 12.50m 1250T remain much the same in terms of rotor construction, with the addition of a solid drawbar. The frame sees a back-set pivot point designed to add stability while offering high levels of manoeuvrability.

The Katana 650 now sees an extra 25hp among other updates.

In addition, Fendt has also launched a new flagship model to its Twister series. The 10-rotor 11010 DN offers a working width of 10.72m, yet remains compact for transport.

Katana 650 updates

The Katana 650 forage harvester also gets some updates, including an increased 25hp, now offering a rated power of 650hp.

Other updates include the offering of a variable reverse fan as standard and redesigned crop flow from front to back through the forager to accommodate the new crop processor.

The German manufacturers claim this new processor sees fuel savings of 12% thanks to its new design.

The Katana’s new all-wheel BalancedGrip drive system is designed to distribute torque between both axles to reduce wheel slippage on hilly terrain.

This, along with the new continuously adjusting sharpening tool, is among the updates to the Katana 650.
